Authentication code is not valid¶
Description¶
Two-factor authentication fails. The login screen shows the message The authentication code is not valid.
The error occurs when the verification code entered does not belong to the account or is no longer valid at the time it is entered.
Resolution¶
Proceed as follows to resolve the error:
- ► Wait until your authentication app shows a new verification code.
- ► Enter the six-digit code in the Verification code field.
- ► If you do not have access to the authentication app, enter one of your backup codes instead.
- ➔ The login is verified, and the start page of the Myra App opens.
Note
Each backup code can be used only once. If you have neither the authentication app nor an unused backup code available, contact your administrator, see section Enabling Two-Factor Authentication.
