Generating ED25519 SSH key

Before you can request the Object Storage add-on, you need an ED25519 SSH key, which you must provide to Myra for activation.

You can generate the SSH key yourself using the ssh-keygen command:

ssh-keygen -t ed25519 -C "user@example.net" Generating public/private ed25519 key pair. Enter file in which to save the key (/home/user/.ssh/id_ed25519): Enter passphrase (empty for no passphrase): Enter same passphrase again: Your identification has been saved in /home/user/.ssh/id_ed25519. Your public key has been saved in /home/user/.ssh/id_ed25519.pub. The key fingerprint is: SHA256:5VxGyFW17Ud96Z/Rkkfx63ln/uaeD/8t9FMceETKDfs user@example.net The randomart image of the key is: +--[ED25519 256]--+ | . oo..o.| | o. . .B| | . + *oB| | + o +.B+| | S o *+=| | ..E*| | ++B| | . OB| | .B/| +----[SHA256]-----+

Once you have generated the key pair, all you need to do is send the public key (for example, ˜/.ssh/id_ed25519.pub) via ticket center to the Myra Support.

The private key is intended for your use only. Keep it safe.
