IP filter entries cannot be imported

Description

Importing IP filter entries fails. The Import dialog shows the message <file name>: Your file cannot be uploaded. Only the file formats .csv or .txt are supported!

The error occurs when the selected file has a file format other than CSV or TXT. The file is not read.

Resolution

Proceed as follows to resolve the error:

  • ► Save the entries as a file with the extension .csv or .txt.
  • ► Check that the content matches the schema of the selected IP filter.
  • ► Upload the file again, see section Import IP filter entries.
  • ➔ The IP filter entries are imported.
