The certificate has no domains assigned

Description

Creating an SSL/TLS certificate using the Myra App fails. Depending on the cause, one of the following messages appears:

  • The certificate has no domains assigned — no domain has been selected for the certificate.
  • One or more required domains are missing — for at least one of the selected domains, the subdomains or the wildcard are missing.

An SSL/TLS certificate always applies to at least one domain. Without this information, the certificate cannot be created.

Resolution

Proceed as follows to resolve the error:

  • Open the Select Type tab in the dialog and specify which domains the certificate is to cover.
  • Open the Wildcards and Subdomains tab and define the subdomains or the wildcard for each selected domain.
  • Continue the process, see section Create an SSL/TLS certificate using the Myra App.
  • The SSL/TLS certificate is created.
