Formatting Description
Text in bold Identifies screen elements from the graphical user interface.
Links Identifies references to chapters and sections within the manual, as well as external sources.
Text in monospace Identifies commands, code, and input.
<ABC> Identifies placeholders to be filled in by the customer or the system.
Indicates prerequisite steps that users must fulfill before performing a procedure.
Indicates steps that users should perform.
Indicates subordinate steps that users should perform.
Indicates the interim result for checking after one or more steps have been performed.
Indicates the result that should be obtained after performing several steps.
NoteText Identifies important information to support users.
AttentionText Identifies particularly important information that, if not observed, can lead to incorrect settings or data loss.
ExampleText Identifies examples to support users.
