SSO certificate invalid or expired¶
Description¶
Saving the SSO configuration fails. Depending on the cause, one of the following messages appears:
- Unable to process your certificate. Please provide a valid certificate. — the content cannot be read as a certificate.
- Your certificate is expired. Please provide a valid certificate. — the certificate is no longer valid.
Without a valid certificate of the identity provider, login via single sign-on cannot be set up.
Resolution¶
Proceed as follows to resolve the error:
- ► Download the current certificate from your identity provider.
- ► Check the expiry date of the certificate.
- ► Enter the certificate in the SSO Configuration tab, see section Set up SSO.
- ► Test the login, see section Testing SSO login.
- ➔ Login via single sign-on works.
