Sending information to the customer infrastructure in the header

A WAF rule with the Add Header or Change Header action allows you to send information as placeholders to your infrastructure. The header name is freely selectable.

Myra provides you with the following information via the header:

Placeholder Sends to the customer infrastructure Example header
!FP! Fingerprint fp1 X-MYRA-FP
!FP2! Fingerprint fp2 X-MYRA-FP2
!FP3! Fingerprint fp3 X-MYRA-FP3
!ISO! Country code X-MYRA-ISO
!SRC! Source ASN X-MYRA-SRC

Action: Send the fingerprint via a header

For example, proceed as follows to send the Fingerprint fp1 to the customer infrastructure:

  • ► Select Request as the request method.
  • ► Add the Add Header action.
  • ► Enter X-MYRA-FP as the header name.
  • ► Enter !FP! as the value.
